I have a visually impaired student and her instructor in my class. Instead of writing her name in print we brailled her name and the name of her instructor. I asked that the two be put side by side on the shirt just as they are in my classroom. I really didn’t think that this would be possible since there are so many orders and special requests. But, our shirts came and there they are right side by side. My student not only got to know that she was on our shirt she could totally read the braille because of the raised printing.
