Celebrate the children behind the milestone. Kindergarten graduation shirts turn the students’ own drawings into a class keepsake. Choose the layout and confirm exactly what “Class of” should mean for your school before the drawing activity begins.
Two ways to remember the graduating class
Compare the portraits within large “Class of” numerals with the standard class and shape layouts. The year and school wording visible in these existing samples belong to those example designs.

Agree on the year before you fill out the form
Ask your school organizer which year and wording should appear: the kindergarten celebration year or another school-approved graduation year. Confirm whether the event is called graduation, moving up or an end-of-year celebration. Have a second adult check the school name and numerals on the proof; do not rely on the example year in a photograph.
Pick the layout before buying art supplies
Standard class artwork
Choose a self-portrait or supported shape template for the group, then follow the directions for the selected single-ink or full-color option.
“Class of” artwork
Use the dedicated combined guide and order form for the full-color “Class of” option on colored shirts. Read its artwork requirements before preparing the drawings.
Review pricing and the “Class of” additional charge before asking families for payment. Confirm shirt and ink choices for your selected option.
Give young artists a comfortable starting point
The larger face templates give children more drawing room and are reduced for printing. Keep one selected template size across the class. Read the drawing directions first, make time for a practice drawing and schedule a make-up opportunity for absences. For preschool or Pre-K groups who struggle with portraits, review the handprint option and confirm which layout fits before collecting artwork.
Plan early for the spring celebration
Mid-March through early June is one of our busiest periods. A four-week processing time is normal in spring; the current estimate is shown on this page. Processing is separate from inbound mailing, proof review and outbound shipping. Please plan early for graduation shirts. Work backward from when you will distribute the shirts, including school breaks and family response time.
Before the final proof approval
- Check the school-approved year, school name and celebration wording.
- Confirm all submitted drawings are represented and the selected layout matches the project.
- Reconcile quantities and sizes with the parent-letter responses.
- Follow the proof instructions and raise any questions before approval.
Ordering resources for this project
For quantities and product requirements, review pricing and the complete FAQs. Read the instructions on the order forms page before selecting either the PDF or Excel form. Students create the artwork on paper; an adult mails the original drawings and completed packet, then reviews the layout proof before printing.
